I'm a 34 yr old husband and father of four great kids and I live in Tennessee in the southern USA. I work at a youth rehab with teen boys and I enjoy my work. Here is my poem and I hope you enjoy it.

Namu Amida Buddha


    Namu Amida Buddha
 his holy name resounds
    throughout the universe
 with infinite mercy and boundless light
    the three poisons
 he confounds
    saving samsaric beings like me
 from our evil fate
    simple faith in his name
 assures rebirth in his pureland
    where the perfect dharma is preached with no defilements of any kind
    buddhahood can easily be reached
 afterward returning to this world
    leading all to the other shore
 who once trapped by samsara
    will play the game no more.
